The purpose of Sunday School is to instill in children a love for their Creator and Savior and to teach them to build life-affirming and respectful relationships with their peers, siblings, parents, and other adults based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
"What we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us, we will not hide from their children, proclaiming to the coming generation the glory of the Lord, and His power, and His wonders that He has done... so that the coming generation may know, the children who are born, and that they may tell their children in their turn " (Ps. 77:3-5).
